The Best in Practices in Distance Learning (DL) course or simply DL course consists of 5 modules to explore best practices in remote instruction. This course gleans content from Quality Matters. Quality Matters (QM) is a nationally recognized, peer-review process used to ensure the quality of online and blended course design. The five modules are listed below:

  • DL 01 Quality Matters Overview
  • DL 02 QM Standards 1 & 2
  • DL 03 QM Standards 3 & 4
  • DL 04 QM Standards 5 & 6
  • DL 05 QM Standards 7 & 8
Employing Quality Matters (QM) standards appropriately results in better course design, which makes navigation easier for students, reduces barriers to student achievement, and results in better outcomes. Using the QM Quality Assurance System begins to instill a “culture of quality” throughout the organization.
