Flipped or Hybrid Courses

Required: If you are planning to teach 30% or 60% online, you must successfully complete the Course Redesign Seminar(CRSI) if you haven't done so since 2014. (See the "Timetable" for dates.), BB01 Building Blackboard Course,LC09 Introduction to Active Learning in the Classroom

Recommended: VT01 Video Recording Your Lectures, WC01 Helping Students Write to Learn about a Discipline, PE01 Polling with PollEverywhere, LC06 Case-Based Teaching: Facilitating Small Groups, LC10 Role-Playing

Fully Online Courses

Required: If you are planning to teach 100% online, you must successfullly complete the Best Practices in Distance Learning Seminar(DLSI) online if you haven't already earned credit for DLSI. (See the "Timetable" for dates) and Course Redesign Seminar(CRSI) if you haven't done so since 2014.

Recommended: VT01 Video Recording Your Lectures, WC01 Helping Students Write to Learn about a Discipline

Peer Reviewer Training

Required: If you wish to earn money for reviewing HU-TEACH Course sites, you must complete CA12 Assessing Online Courses or equivalent training. (CETLA will post CA12 times on its calendar.) In addition, you must have Blackboard certification, Distance Learning certification, and experience teaching an online course.
